Welcome to the Acey Deuceys Website

We are an A2/C1 club that dances every Monday year round. The club was founded in 2004 by caller Ken Ritucci (http://www.kenritucci.com) and the club enjoys dancing in the air conditioned Russian Orthodox Community Center on Sand Creek Road in Colonie, NY.

The Acey Deuceys are a Caller-run club with no dues payable by the club members. A typical dance night would include A2 dancing from 7-9:30 PM and C1 dancing from 9:30 to 10:15 PM.

The only Mondays we do not dance during the year would be Memorial Day, Fourth of July (depends on when it falls), Labor Day and the Monday between Christmas and New Years. We welcome guests to join us at any time especially if they are traveling through the area.

The Acey Deuceys are the host club for the Annual “June Jubilee”, held every June on the third weekend of the month. This is a “Mini-Weekend” with dancing Friday night and all day Saturday and Saturday night. Ken, along with Todd Fellegy (http:/www.toddfellegy.com) and Don Moger from Montreal, usually call the Jubilee. Depending on the traveling schedule of the three callers, a guest caller may appear for a year. For 2009, the staff will be Tim Crawford, Todd Fellegy and Dayle Hodge with special tips called by Ken.

One thing you will love about the Acey Deuceys is the way we have fun during the course of the evening. While we enjoy our dancing, we are always having fun, laughing and not taking things too seriously.

Please check out our Winter and Summer Schedules. The Winter Schedule runs from September through May. Our Summer Schedule is for June through August with a different guest caller each Monday night. Ken brings in some of the top talent in the Advanced and Challenge Communities for the dancers to enjoy.
